The new summer edition of The Austin Séance Quarterly Journal is OUT NOW. As always, our newest edition includes contributions from expert commentators and paid professionals.
This edition’s cover story is about Victor Hugo and the séance sessions the French literary genius conducted while exiled on an island in the English Channel. We also have articles about a 1949 Marian Apparition in Nebraska, a 19th century séance at the Texas Alamo, and the history of Chinese spirit writing. We likewise include a list of famous haunted bridges and our annual summer book guide.
There’s two ways to subscribe: through a regular annual subscription that still costs just $25 per year, or through $5-per-month Patreon membership. Those who join our Patreon also receive for FREE our first annual compendium that includes a reprint of two previous issues of The Austin Séance Quarterly Journal, plus a tea-leaf reading guide. Patreons also receive other benefits, such as discounted tickets to our séances.
AND SPEAKING OF PATREON BENEFITS...
We will be hosting a FREE occult workshop for paid Patreon supporters on July 24 at the First Spiritualist Church of Austin. But you have to become a paid member to access those free tickets. Stay tuned for details.

RAFFLE WINNER ANNOUNCED
In case you missed it, our own Jake Cordero was a guest lecturer during the recent Psychic and Spirit Fest in San Antonio, hosted by Curious Twins Paranormal. During the seminar we also hosted a raffle for a Katy Horan Talking Board, one of the last remaining first edition boards created for us by the renowned Texas artist. Check out the video, below, to find out who won.
AD DOPS FOR QUARTERLY JOURNAL
Our spooky friend Scarah, Damsel of the Doomed, has created a delightful digital ad for The Austin Séance Quarterly Journal. And if you haven’t checked out Sarah’s presentations, do so soon. She hosts her regular Scream Theatre every month at Doc’s Drive-In (in Buda, Texas); sings for the rock-n-roll band, The Immortalz; and stars in a new movie, Damsel of the Doomed.
