Get Your Tickets Now: Ouija and Tea Leaf Reading Workshops in June

The Austin Séance recently concluded a raffle for a first edition Katy Horan Talking Board. Find out who won!

JUNE WORKSHOPS
Jake Cordero and Albert Lucio of The Austin Séance will host  two occult workshops during the July 13-15 weekend, with steep discounts available for both. But you’ll need to join our Patreon to access those savings. Your $5-per-month Patreon subscription also pays for a mailed-to-your home subscription to The Austin Séance Quarterly Journal, occasional free gifts, and other benefits.

Jake Cordero with Nixie and Rachel of The Serpent Tattoo and Occult Shop, in East Austin.

The sign-up link can be found here.  As you’ll see, the value of these workshop discounts will completely defray the cost of your first Patreon payment. But that’s not to say you must  join our Patreon to attend a workshop. Here’s a list of them, along with ticket links and details:

      • On June 13 — that is,  Friday the 13th  — we’ll conduct a SECRETS OF OUIJA workshop at Captain Quack’s, in South Austin. Get tickets here. Patreon discounts are good for $7 off.
      • On Sunday, June 15, we’ll conduct a Tea Leaf Reading: History and How-To workshop at The Serpent Tattoo and Occult Shop, in East Austin. Get tickets here.  Patreon discounts are good for $5 off.

RAFFLE WINNER ANNOUNCED
In case you missed it, our own Jake Cordero  was a guest lecturer during the recent Psychic and Spirit Fest in San Antonio, hosted by Curious Twins Paranormal. During the seminar we also hosted a raffle for a Katy Horan Talking Board, one of the last remaining first edition boards created for us by the renowned Texas artist. Check out the video, below, to find out who won.

The summer edition of The Austin Séance Quarterly Journal will be out soon, and will feature articles about séances conducted by literary giant Victor Hugo, a 1949 Marian apparition in Wisconsin, a séance at The Alamo, and much more.  And remember:  all subscription and Patreon proceeds —100 percent — we use to pay our guest writers and artists and to defray our substantial production costs. The Austin Séance doesn’t take a dime in profits, we don’t use AI, and all contributors are either paid professional journalists or experts in the field.

Want to advertise?  Rates begin at $60 for a full-page if you sign up through our Patreon service. Back page color ads also are available.  Advertisers also receive shout-outs in our email blasts, as well as complimentary copies for redistribution upon request. Find more information at this link, or reach out to Jake at TheAustinSeance@gmail.com.

AD DROPS FOR QUARTERLY JOURNAL
Our spooky friend Scarah, Damsel of the Doomed,  has created a delightful digital ad for The Austin Séance Quarterly Journal. You can view it here or just below. And if you haven’t checked out Sarah’s presentations, do so soon. She hosts her regular Scream Theatre every month at Doc’s Drive-In (in Buda, Texas); sings for the rock-n-roll band, The Immortalz; and stars in a new movie, Damsel of the Doomed.
