The 2026 Halloween season is upon us, and with it a whole slew of spirit sessions by The Austin Séance. This is our tenth consecutive season and it should be the best ever. This year we’ll be highlighting the famous rivalry between magician Harry Houdini and medium Mina “Margery” Crandon. The renowned conjurer’s 100-year death anniversary falls October 31 and the medium’s 85th-year death anniversary falls November 1. We have séances scheduled both nights.
Spirit Board Workshop on Sunday

Sunday Matinee Séance on Oct. 11
Then, during the following Sunday, we host a matinee séance at 2:30 p.m. in East Austin. Our friends at The Serpent Tattoo and Occult Shop is sponsoring the session and there are just a few tickets left. You can get yours here.
