The Austin Séance continues the Halloween season with sittings Friday, Oct. 12 and Saturday, Oct. 13 in San Antonio, Texas — at the Villa Finale: Museum & Gardens and the nearby Steves Homestead Museum.
The Villa Finale
Located at the center of the King William National Historic District and along the world-famous River Walk, Villa Finale is the former estate of the bachelor millionaire Walter Mathis. The late investment banker was particularly fascinated with memorabilia relating to Napoleon Bonaparte and you’ll find plenty of it stocked at the estate. There’s also religious artwork and unusual artifacts collected by Mr. Mathis during his worldwide travels.
Villa Finale was recorded as a Texas Historical Landmark in 1971 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The home and its collections were given to the National Trust for Historic Preservation in 2004, becoming the only National Trust Historic Site in Texas.
Albert and Jake will be conducting a sitting there on Friday, Oct. 12, with gates opening at 7:00 p.m. Villa Finale is located at 401 King William Street. Parking is located along King William and Sheridan. Find tickets here.
Edward Steves Homestead Museum
Albert and Jake will be conducting a sitting there on Saturday, Oct. 13, with gates opening at 7:00 p.m. The Edward Steves Homestead is located at 509 King William, with parking along King William and Johnson Streets. Find tickets here.
Pendulum Workshop at The Meusebach House
Albert and Jake also will be hosting a pendulum workshop Saturday afternoon, 2-3:30 p.m. on the grounds of the Meusebach House, just across the street from the Villa Finale. For more information or tickets to the pendulum workshop, click here.
